
Incoming: Marcos Rojo is heading to Manchester United after they agreed a fee with Sporting Lisbon
Manchester United have signed £16million Sporting Lisbon centre back Marcos Rojo, the Portuguese club have confirmed. United winger Nani will move back to his former club on a season-long loan as part of the deal.
Sporting announced the agreement for the Argentina World Cup defender on Twitter - with United splashing out £16million, plus a 'free of charge' loan for Nani.
Nani signed for United seven years ago from Sporting but the 27-year-old will now return to his former club on a temporary deal - with the Reds paying the entirety of his £120,000-per-week wages.

Sporting say that £7.2m of the fee for the 24-year-old will go towards the construction of their 'pavilion'.
United will pay the transfer fee in three installments - and the Portuguese club will receive a 20% sell-on if Rojo leaves Old Trafford in a deal worth over £18.5m in the future.
